Our President
California Graduate School of Theology is pleased to announce Dr. James C. Poit as President of
Cal Grad.
Dr. Poit holds degrees from Hope College, Holland, Michigan; the Master of Divinity
from Princeton Theological Seminary; and the Doctor of Philosophy from St. Andrews University,
Scotland. Jim, 42, is married to Linda and they have four children. Dr. Poit and family reside in
Orange County, California.
Before coming to California Dr. Poit was Executive Pastor of Third Reformed Church in
Kalamazoo, Michigan. Dr. Poit's most recent service was as the Executive Pastor of the Crystal Cathedral
in Garden Grove, California, while Linda was Director of Children’s Ministry at Crystal Cathedral.
Dr. Poit was featured in Church Executive magazine for August 2008.
Dr. Poit will be teaching Leadership in the new
Doctor_of_Ministry Program.
We invite applicants to join us for this practical program for those in ministry.
