Statement Of Faith
We believe there is but One living and true God. In the unity
of this Godhead there are three Persons, of one substance,
power, and eternity: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who is the
Word of the Father, begotten from everlasting of the Father,
of one substance with the Father, took Man’s nature
in the womb of the Virgin Mary, so that two whole and perfect
natures, Godhead and Manhood, were joined together in one
Person, never to be divided; We believe in His sinless life,
and in the sufficiency and substitution of His death on the
cross for the sins of the whole world; in His bodily resurrection
from the dead and His ascension to heaven; and in His bodily
return to the earth to set up His eternal kingdom.
We believe that the Holy Spirit, proceeding from the Father
and through the Son, is of One substance, majesty, and glory
with the Father and the Son. The Holy Spirit is active in
the Church and witnesses to the world in fulfillment of the
promise of Jesus Christ to His Apostles, (John 16:7)
We believe that the Bible contains all things necessary
to salvation: so that whatever is not written therein, nor
may be proved thereby, is not to be required of any man that
it should be believed as an article of the Faith or thought
necessary for salvation. We believe that all Scripture is
given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine,
for correction, for instruction in righteousness. (2 Tim.
3:16) We believe that there are 66 canonical Books comprising
the Old and New Testament, the authority of these books was
never in any doubt in the Church. These 66 canonical books
are without error in the original autographs.
We believe in the creation of the universe and all living
things as a direct act of God, and that man in particular
was made by the Eternal Triune God in His image and likeness.
Mankind is not an accident of chance or evolution but the
very image-bearer of God.
We believe in the fall of man and the subsequent depravity,
sinfulness, and death that has encompassed the whole human
race, making man incapable of personal salvation before God
without the saving grace of Jesus Christ.
We believe that man's greatest need is personal salvation
by grace through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
apart from any works of the Mosaic law or any human merit.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of believers to everlasting
life and fellowship with God, and of all non-believers to
everlasting torment and the second death (Rev. 20:14).
We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers who are
regenerated, baptized, and sealed by the Holy Spirit for an
effective Christian life and witness
We believe that God's plan for this present age involves
the evangelization of the world through the witness of every
believer in Jesus Christ, and the establishment and growth
of local churches as the means of accomplishing His purposes.
